13X Molecular Sieve

Type 13X molecular sieve is predominantly composed of aluminosilicate with a sodium-type crystal structure. Commonly produced in spherical form, it exhibits non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, and non-explosive properties. Featuring a large surface area, it functions as a high-performance adsorbent with excellent adsorption capacity even under conditions of very low adsorbate concentration. Its capabilities include selective adsorption, dehydration, drying, and kerosene dewaxing processes.

Product Introduction

Type 13X molecular sieve, the sodium form of zeolite X, is a synthetic high-performance adsorbent and catalyst featuring a regular crystal structure and uniform pore distribution. With an approximate pore size of 10 angstroms (1 nm), it is also commonly referred to as a “10Å molecular sieve”.

Applications

  1. Deep drying of general industrial gases
  2. Purification in air separation units (removal of H₂O, CO₂, and certain hydrocarbons)
  3. Drying and desulfurization of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and liquid hydrocarbons
  4. Bulk oxygen production in pressure swing adsorption (PSA) systems
