Product Introduction
Coconut-shell pellet activated carbon is manufactured from high-quality coconut shell powder via a sequential production process. Characterized by a black columnar appearance, well-developed porous structure, excellent adsorption performance, high mechanical strength, ease of regeneration, and cost-effectiveness with long service life.
This coconut-based pellet activated carbon is extensively applicable in fixed-bed or mobile-bed systems, and widely utilized in central water purifiers, drinking water treatment, and industrial water purification for decolorization, deodorization, as well as the removal of organic substances and residual chlorine.
Applications
Solvent recovery;Gas purification;H₂S removal;VOCs abatement.
Additionally, coconut-shell activated carbon is applicable to waste gas emissions from chemical plants, tanneries, paint factories, and projects utilizing various organic solvents. Such gases contain harmful substances including organic solvents, inorganic and organic sulfides, hydrocarbons, chlorine, oils, and mercury—all environmentally hazardous components that can be adsorbed by activated carbon prior to discharge. Waste gases from atomic energy facilities contain radioactive substances such as krypton, xenon, and iodine, which must undergo activated carbon adsorption before emission. Flue gases generated from the combustion of coal and heavy oil contain sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, harmful components that pollute the atmosphere and contribute to acid rain; these can also be effectively adsorbed and removed using activated carbon.
